Coaching means mentoring someone and find that person’s goals and objectives. It could be simplified as the mentoring and management of someone to get from the situation in the “now” to a situation in the “future”.

Techniques that help identifying as well as achieving those goals are NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and TA (Transactional Analysis) as well as DBM (Development of Behaviour Models) and various models of goal setting and motivational techniques.

Performance Coaching allows support and advice to an individual within a business or for a team. Aim is to help them recognise ways in which they can improve the effectiveness of their performance or the performance of their business. This can be both applied to a business as a whole with a break-down to individual performance coaching (outside in approach) or a set-up of a performance coaching programme for individuals of a company to increase the performance of the business by increasing the staff performance (inside out approach).

Coaching is used to improve the management level of a business and to increase the internal development structure. Often, coaching works hand in hand with the Human Resource department to increase team work performance, leadership, sales, goals setting, communication, strategic planning and personal development of individuals or the organisation as a whole.
