		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m at that 70 pages or so, and have to agree about the pacing.  It was good that, because of the summary, you know there can&#039;t be too much background information, so the slow pacing isn&#039;t off-putting.

The drinking and so on is strange.  Undoubtedly it happens sometimes, but in a book about the differences between cultures it was a surprise.  Definitely unexpected.

I&#039;m glad to read your thoughts about what happens later, because you (as in the reader) know there are going to be some conflicts there and that the balance is going have to be different to the section set in Japan.  I&#039;m looking forward to that section more for having read your review, I want to find out about what you&#039;ve written about.
