You all know I have an obsession with work, productivity and motivation. And since last year I sold my soul to Apple.
Mixing all that results in a little motivational poster/frame on my desk.
One of many, maybe from others, to come. I think I start creating my own homemade collection now.
And certainly a new obsession.
Now, someone send me the link to this video about Steve Jobs presenting the first Apple Macintosh in 1984.
That was 26 years ago. However, only recently, he presented the ipad.
Quite a bit has changed. And who know what is coming next….
I have done it. I finally got myself the revolutionary Apple ipod Nano with 16 GB of storage.
Why? Why not? Why has it taken me so long 😉
I remember in 2003 everyone in the school I was teaching got an ipod and I thought to myself, why not buy some Apple Shares. But I never did. I should have. Never mind. Forrest Gump did 🙂
Then I remember my brother being allowed to take a computer home from school during the Christmas break. That must have been early 80ies. You remember this logo?
And now I have this very small Apple product.
Look at the size:
Height: 3.6 inches (90.7 mm)
Width: 1.5 inches (38.7 mm)
Depth: 0.24 inch (6.2 mm)
Weight:1.3 ounces (36.8 grams)
This is smaller and sexier than my phone. And it not only plays music, it does video and downloads podcasts. Wow – I know for most of you readers this is a daily event and soon it will be for me. But what technology has come to is amazing. Nice to be reminded now and then.
Even if I do not have an i-phone yet….
The coolest application I have seen so far is the ibeer 😉
