Baby Show London
Last weekend, my wife and I went to the baby show in Excel, London. Sure, just looking
Glad we went on a Friday as allegedly it is much busier on Saturdays and Sundays.
What did we buy? Some cover for our car seat which we don’t have yet. Really great idea from what it seems a mum that noticed the need for something and founded her own company Tommee Tippie Nappy Disposal System which seals each used nappies individually, making sure the smell is kept to a minimum

And, besides some soft toys, daddy got himself a security device. They sell it as a baby monitor but I would prefer to use it in the garden, watching the foxes and neighbours at night, lol. What do you think?

Volvo was there too of course, telling everyone how safe their cars are and that families should really go and buy a Volvo. We looked and Prams and the ICandy will be our choice as it is the one with the handle being most extendable from all the models.
And of course we stocked up on some devices for securing the cot from cats and also a Carramio baby carrier where I can carry Colin in front of my chest. Similar to this model from Mothercare. Cippasafe has some very useful and some very funny products, see below the shampoo eye shield!

My sister in law recommended the Bump Belt to my wife a while back, it should be compulsory actually to use it.
As you can imagine this show was fantastic. Many ideas, lots of things to buy, lots of mamas and papas strolling around, either with children or with big bumps. Happy Family outing.
The hungry caterpillar
Ach well, the snow has some advantages.
My wife didn’t have to go to work and managed to paint the hungry caterpillar on the baby room’s wall
A day in History
Hello,
Today’s day does mark an interesting mix of stories in my BBC News Alerts.
Here we go:
In 1941 Germany and Italy declared war on the US. Now that is history, luckily.
Present is that Germany and the UK fight about recession counter measures.
Future is the gender of our baby which we found out yesterday but are only 90-95 percent sure. We accept bets and guesses
So, that is what I call a day in history.
Have a good one.
Volker
Scan of Life
I don’t think those pictures need words.
It is all good and we are soooo excited.
I love my wife! And the little one of course
Volker
my new nephew
I now got a picture of my nephew, he is called very Scottish.
Today, 28th of April, I do my bigbrother a favour to eliminate any information about him to keep the little one “google protected”. Fair enough I guess, once he is working in the online marketing industry he might choose to do so himself or just do the opposite.
