Tannat Grape


Hello,

Just as the weekend is approaching, I tasted a new grape variety yesterday, Tannat. Actually an old grape, but the first time I tasted it.

I was at a wine tasting I can highly recommend. Very knowledgeable presenter and great people.

Guess I am off to Waitrose in my lunch break for a bottle of Madiran, although they used to stock a Tannat from Uruguay.

    I tried the wine from Waitrose last night. Very nice grape with a lovely aroma. For 11.95 a good bargain and surely something you don’t get any day.
