Baby Show London
Last weekend, my wife and I went to the baby show in Excel, London. Sure, just looking π
Glad we went on a Friday as allegedly it is much busier on Saturdays and Sundays.
What did we buy? Some cover for our car seat which we don’t have yet. Really great idea from what it seems a mum that noticed the need for something and founded her own company Tommee Tippie Nappy Disposal System which seals each used nappies individually, making sure the smell is kept to a minimum π
And, besides some soft toys, daddy got himself a security device. They sell it as a baby monitor but I would prefer to use it in the garden, watching the foxes and neighbours at night, lol. What do you think?
Volvo was there too of course, telling everyone how safe their cars are and that families should really go and buy a Volvo. We looked and Prams and the ICandy will be our choice as it is the one with the handle being most extendable from all the models.
And of course we stocked up on some devices for securing the cot from cats and also a Carramio baby carrier where I can carry Colin in front of my chest. Similar to this model from Mothercare. Cippasafe has some very useful and some very funny products, see below the shampoo eye shield!
My sister in law recommended the Bump Belt to my wife a while back, it should be compulsory actually to use it.
As you can imagine this show was fantastic. Many ideas, lots of things to buy, lots of mamas and papas strolling around, either with children or with big bumps. Happy Family outing.
We got an ICandy too. It’s really good!
Who’d have thought there was such a thing as a baby show. what a cool idea. Thanks for the card (and the bowl!!) which came today! Can’t believe how time has flown and that the wedding is nearly upon us! Hope you, Jen and Baby CHB are all well!
Cool. It seems to be the best on the market (and the most expensive one) – do you have any problems collapsing it and fitting it into the car?
Hehe, you are welcome! Thought is would be the best choice of the ones that were left.
Yes, who would have thought I ever went to a baby show, lol. Time seems to fly. Not soon now!
All the best for your big day, sorry we cannot make it.
We MUST catch up this year! Maybe you make it to London to meet CHB in June?
For what you get I don’t think it’s the most expensive one, at least not here in Aberdeenshire.
We don’t have a problem with the system. Just make sure that the lock is aligned, otherwise it will stick when you try and get the seat or the cot into the chassis.
Hehe, up in the shire π
